15.08.2120 The year is 2120, technology has excelled within the past century with the development of the Sibyl System which was introduced further than just Japan. Major cities have been introduced to this magnificent system and this story takes place in a recently new city in America called Dellmere.
A relatively large city that has had a huge overhaul with the Sibyl System being installed since 2110 (Been installed for 10 years). It is officially one of the 'safest' places on Earth to live. With the new MWPSB members protecting the city nothing can potentially go wrong... A part from criminals running around and causing problems for the civilians, fortunately the MWPSB doesn't just employ inspectors, but also latent criminals as well. Criminals where their crime coefficient is over 100 but less than 300 and are put to work as hunting dogs to track down criminals all while under the title of an 'Enforcer'. However it is all not as easy as it sounds as some of these criminals have networks of gang members who will be more than happy to cause chaos in the streets. Now it's up to the MWPSB to clean up the streets and keep everyone safe from criminals who's psycho-pass isn't so clear after all.
Not everyone agreed with the implication of the Sibyl System, and not everyone likes it. It makes life-changing decisions such as your school and even what job you will end up in according to your grades. Sometimes people just don't want to be told what to do by a computer and try to fight this system... Sadly this is met by a high Crime Coefficient which can result in being thrown into a correctional facility or even worse...
Privacy is little in this world, with cameras everywhere and the criminals who hack being quite popular, it isn't a wonder why people go to great lengths to hide things... Such as the Sibyl System.
Dellmere has had funding poured into it, split up into several sections -more for the convenience for the MWPSB divisions- each section has its own set of interesting places to go. With buildings that seem to touch the sky and technology that only people could dream of, Dellmere is one of the most advanced cities in America. People have became reliant on technology now, with cars that can drive themselves to robots essentially doing most retail work and even working at home as a personal assistant. There is a large spire in the middle of the city which reprisents the MWPSB headquarters while smaller buildings are spread throughout the city which eventually leads to a 'law-free zone', a dead spot where Sibyl can't see though mostly appears to be a run down area where funding didn't reach.
