Emily Rae Strathmerton
also known as "Em" or "Ember"
Female
twenty-three
homosexual
GANG LEADER
Anarchist
Appearance
Emily's unique, neon blue hair and crimson orbs make her stand out greatly; but of course, they're not natural. Every now and then, her black roots begin to grow back and she has to dye her hair once more. Fortunately, surgery took care of her once deep, emerald green eyes and turned them into a ever-lasting, piercing red color.
She's always had pale, porcelain-like skin that's soft to the touch, and utterly flawless, that really only tan to a peach color during the summer before returning to its normal state. Of course, Emily didn't like this part of herself either and painted, or moreso tattooed, drawing all over her right arm and down the right side of her waist reaching the hip, of random cartoons that Emily claims have a special meaning in her heart. A meaning she won't explain and couldn't care enough to anyhow.
It seems that Emily was born perfect, born to be a doll or maybe even a model. Her head is heart-shaped due to a small, pointed chin and certain hairline, bangs situated so they only sweep towards the right, framing her fact and while the side without bangs compliments the rest of her head. The eyebrows are even blue cause she dyes them too, along with arched rather high and plucked thinly. She has thin lips that are tainted a light pink, which turns out to be just right because Emily's mouth is very wide. To a scary extent, especially when she smiles wickedly.
Often there are bags under the eyes of Emily, proving years of stress, emotional distress, sleepless nights, and hard-work. The body-shape of Emily is rectangle, as she has no true defining feminine features, except for her waist that dips in and curves back out near her hips. This makes it rather obvious that Emily is a female, as a male wouldn't have such a curvaceous torso. Pretty much everything else about Emily is tiny in proportion. Except for her height, which is a staggering 5 feet and 10 inches // 177.8 centimeters.
It's most obvious, however, that not everything about Emily is normal. Especially her clothing choice. She tends to wear a two-colored top that stop just under her chest, taking on the appearance of a bikini top. Along with that, she pulls on striped shorts that match the pattern of her top, and stockings that reach just mid-thigh, directly under where the shorts stop. One of the stockings matches the pattern of the shorts and top, while the other is transparent. Emily wears black boots with colored laces, along with finger-less gloves that end a few inches about where your wrist bone would stick out. She also adorns her neck with necklaces.
Leather straps with a place to put bullets are fitted into Emily's outfit, that she only pulls on when she's fighting for herself, or for her gang. These places would include on the bottom of her top and around her waist, For some reason, she keeps two bandages in an "X" fashion over her left knee.
Honestly, Emily will wear anything at all but that's her main outfit. She also prefers booty-shorts, baggy t-shirts, crop-tops, swimsuit tops, gym shorts, any type of boots, leggings, stockings, all sorts of accessories. You should always expect her outfits, no matter what they consist of, to be crazy, stand-out, and be nothing shy of unique.

Personality
Ever since birth, Emily has always been a loose cannon. She was a child who couldn't be controlled, and one who always caused a ruckus wherever she was. Emily believes she is only trying to have fun when she damages her surroundings due to unintentional, natural behavior; while most people dislike her ways and find it rude, and irrational.
When the Psycho-Pass system was introduced, well, that was when problems arose. Her Crime Coefficient was extremely high all the time, and no matter what Emily did it never lowered. Though, she didn't mind. Being spontaneous and flamboyant in such a naive, boring world was something Emily loved. Since when did being the same as everyone else become valued?
With such flamboyance comes insecurity. Emily always felt like she wasn't good enough, that she needed power due to her natural need for dominance. This kicked in when she met her now ex-friend, Amira, who was fairly easy to control. Thus, she changed her overall appearance to some more her... style. Dying her hair a bright blue, and putting in contacts to make her eyes red, Emily sent all of those insecurities away. Though, to this day, when she looks in the mirror, she still feels imperfect yet pushes these thoughts away. Isn't that the normal mind of a female?
Not really. Emily's mind, if you couldn't tell by her Crime Coefficient, is full of things any sane person wouldn't even begin to imagine. She always thinks outside the box, and is naturally very creative, so what passes through her mind isn't what you would see goes on in that of a normal person's. Depending on what you classify normal as.
That's always been the problem with Emily. Well, more like a virtue to her. She's always been one to stick out, especially with her party animal ways. Partying is seen as a way of life to the twenty-three year old, and she craves an exciting, pleasurable experience out of life 24/7. This lead to insomnia, and permanent bags under Emily's eyes that only increased her once-hidden insecurities. Even now, Emily can hardly sleep and night and is very, very jittery, always tapping a foot or having odd spasms.
But not everything about Emily is this way. When she puts her mind to one certain thing, or is devoted to a cause, she becomes a workaholic and a hard-worker at that. She won't stop until something is perfect in her eyes, or until she feels the need to stop working on said thing. This part of Emily is when she becomes serious, and puts down anybody who tries to stop her from achieving her goals. It's because of this trait that the Night-walker's gang is back up and running, now a solid gang with actual power.
It's quite obvious to anyone around her that Emily is someone you'd call or think is a psycho, which is true. She's always laughing, cracking jokes, and is extremely violent along with bloodthirsty. That certain combination calls for a sadist, which is indeed what Emily now is. Laughing at death, torturing others, and getting what she wants are all things Emily favors.
Anyone who hangs around Emily would think of her as your cliche popular girl, mixed with a sadistic villain, yet she is still friendly to those whom she doesn't dub an enemy. Even if you're aren't her friend, don't even know her, hate her and make it obvious, or is someone who nobody likes, you can guarantee Emily will still make her way into your heart and become close to you, changing your view of the twenty-three year old.
She knows this about herself; the fact that she could get anybody she wanted at anytime, that she's powerful, and that she is so socially skilled that anybody and anyone will eventually become her friend no matter what. Though it's rare Emily takes this to her advantage, it is helpful when she's in the mood to use this virtue.
Now, it seems, this power is only put into effect when her ex-friend and previous gang-member, Amira, is around. Emily wants Amira and knows the other female doesn't like her the same way, which makes Emily crave her even more. Every single trait about Emily that's just awful kicks in around Amira; and what's sad is that Emily doesn't truly love her. Does she?
Love isn't something taken seriously by Emily, and she makes this as obvious as her thirst for blood. Maybe she'll want a quickie, or she'll go overboard when flirting, but for anyone to get into her heart like she does to others is nearly impossible. However, friendly love as in family or good friends is something Emily is capable of. We're talking about romantic interests, which Emily frowns and gags at the thought of.

Background
Emily was born to a poor family, one so poor that she had to live in slums. Gang life thrived in these sections of town, and violent mishaps occurred day to day. Emily's parents tried their best to provide for their only child, to ensue she grew up to be wealthy, successful, violence-free and end up having her own family. But, that didn't work.
As much as Emily's parents tried, they just couldn't pin their problem child down. It was sad, really, seeing a young girl like Emily being tainted and shaped by the cruel, evil world around her. Though, to Emily, what she was becoming and her overall way of life wasn't something to be disappointed about. It was fairly obvious that Emily was going to be a problem child from day 1, but her parents thought maybe if they tried enough that she wouldn't. However, by age 13 they knew it was too late, as the Psycho-Pass system had been introduced; as well as Emily's Crime Coefficient.
At a staggering 300, Emily could be taken out at any time much to her parents dismay. They knew what she was capable of, though, and tried even harder to get her to begin learning for a decent education. This method worked for about a month or so, until Emily was introduced to a small group of trouble-making friends. She absolutely adored them, and still at age 13, ended up running away with said group. Never to be seen again by her mother and father.
It's unknown where exactly Emily and her group headed off to, but they prospered in life by beating down others and stealing whatever they liked. This new way of life was enjoyable to the young, easily influenced, problem child, who was immediately dubbed the leader because of her personality and the overall liking the others had taken to her. She got what she wanted which pleased her dominant needs, and could be free to do whatever. Life primarily consisted of traveling from place to place, sleeping in hotels or the homes of people the gang tied up; but no matter where they were or what happened, the gang of friends were so close they couldn't be separated. Everyone got nicknames, and Emily's was switched from "Em" to "Ember" for she was the spark in everyone's otherwise dull lives.
What made life even better was Emily's best friend, Amira. She was beautiful, younger, fun, and also very submissive, which Emily enjoyed greatly. Amira was even the reason Emily became so attracted to women instead of men, though she never developed feelings for Amira who was too close to her heart for that to happen. That is, she never developed feelings for her until she realized she might lose Amira. The same childhood best friend influenced Emily's party-animal lifestyle she still has to this day. By the age of 16, Amira insisted that the gang go party and sneak into concerts, along with movies alike just for the heck of it. Soon enough, Emily couldn't get enough of partying, it was as if that was what she was destined to do. Amira was also the one to suggest the change in Emily's hair color, much to which she agreed and had another female in the gang dye her hair.
The gang became tighter, and even more crazy along with violent, irrational, and uncontrollable. Travel during the day, party during the night, that was what went on day to day, and Emily, now Ember, couldn't get enough. She'd even gone to the lengths of giving herself a tattoo, and getting underground, illegal surgery to simply change the color of her eyes to something more exciting. All to express her new-found personality.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Emily noticed that her gang was targeted more and more by others, and that with each year plenty of members had gone missing, were killed, kidnapped, or taken by the MWPSB. This made her Crime Coefficient rise extremely high, into the 400's which is where it is now. With her and Amira the only ones left standing only after so long, Emily vowed that nothing else would happen to the gang. She even attempted to kiss her best friend, but it was only a quick peck. Nothing serious, but definitely affectionate.
Time would prove Emily wrong, for Amira was taken in by the MWPSB and she was left all alone. At the age of 19, Emily became severely depressed and spent all day wallowing in her nostalgia, not being able to sleep the days away due to insomnia.
Life was nothing, and bitter until Emily's 20th birthday. She was forced to beat up someone who was threatening her, and after taking said person's gun, Emily smiled and laughed since the scene reminded her of old times. Afterwards, Emily hit the shopping districts and stole herself plenty of presents. From that day forward, she vowed to build the gang back to the top and surfed through old names the band of friends had made up. One stuck with her, though, and that was "Night-walkers".
For 3 years straight, all the while avoiding authorities like she had since teenage years, Emily worked hard at collecting necessities to form a gang, piling up her fake ID's, hiding her Crime Coefficient, and becoming powerful in the underground world, enough so that an HQ could be built and so if any opposing forced acted upon her, Emily could easily strike back.
Now she sits back, awaiting the time where the Night-walkers will be powerful enough to simply roam the streets like they once had, waiting for the day that she'll receive that loving feeling of being surrounded by close friends once more, wondering where Amira and her other friends are now...
But not without partying, too!~ What's life without a little entertainment?
